Today I started the application process for the NHSC scholarship program.
I have been waiting all year for the application process to become available. It finally is available starting today at: https://scholarship.bcrs.hrsa.gov/Login.aspx
Hopefully I will be qualified and get the award because it would pay for all my educational costs + Health Insurance + monthly stipend and other reasonable costs. Then after graduation I would then in return work for the amount of school years that they provided funding as an employee in a public health center or Indian reservation of some sort.
I am not entirely sure that this is the right avenue to take, but since the scholarship is so competitive I thought that I would at least apply for it and see if I get it, and if I do--then I could really make the decision.
