Concerns of Lead found in Dental Prosthetics

The ADA put out an article the other day discussing the findings of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) on a dental crown that was manufactured in China that tested positive for lead contamination. If lead is making its way into dental crowns and other prosthetics produced abroad should the public be concerned? Those materials shouldn't be used then. Well, my suggestions to professionals is to always take up their required dental continuing education as this is one of the best ways they can update themselves with news like this, technology in the dental industry and new and old procedures that are no longer being practiced for their professions.
